How to keep your self-belief in a volatile industry

I want to point you to the coaching corner I did in November last year because I feel that more and more people are suddenly feeling very uncertain about their jobs and careers.

Open up the news, and you will see disruption in the job market across the creative industries and beyond.

At times like this, it can be very difficult not to take it personally and fall into the depths of self-doubt.

To feel like it’s just you (it’s not), to feel like you are the wrong age (you’re not), to feel worthless (you’re not).

So, how do you maintain that self-belief in volatile times? Two things...

1) develop a strong sense of self - YOU ARE NOT YOUR JOB TITLE

2) develop a strong sense of perspective - YOU ARE ON A JOURNEY and you’ve faced difficult times before and have come through them and will again.

Here’s the coaching corner - if you missed it last time, time to catch up
